LCS Welcomes New Executive Director

We are pleased to announce that Mark D. Laskey has joined LCS as the new Executive Director. Mark began his position as ED on March 21, 2011.

Mark comes to LCS with more than 30 years of experience in the non-profit field, most recently as Executive Director of Industry Services for Construction Employers Association (CEA) in Cleveland. During his time at CEA, Mark served as executive director of numerous construction contractor associations and collaborated with construction companies, professional service firms, and suppliers to the construction industry to provide a strong competitive advantage when negotiating contracts. He also held the position of Vice President with Edward Howard & Company, a public relations firm in Cleveland, where he represented both non-profit and for-profit clients. Mark has entrepreneurial experience operating his own business in Cleveland for 13 years, Laskey and Associates, which represented non-profit organizations, with a special emphasis on physician societies.

I know you share with me a commitment to build on the strong foundation that has been laid at LCS over the past 97 years and I want to say thank you. Your investment in the mission of LCS has enabled numerous individuals to benefit from the caring presence of a chaplain,” Mark said.

Mark resides in Fairview Park with his wife and has two children. He is a musician and enjoys cooking, traveling, reading and backpacking.
