Congratulations to Chaplains Tricia Gilbert, Alice Walsh, Elyse Berry and Alex Brazynetz for their very successful Community Clergy Education Day held on May 26 at the Gemini Center in Fairview Park. This year’s topic was “When Cancer Comes to Your Congregation: What I Wished They Had Taught Me in Seminary.”

More than 30 clergy from a variety of faith traditions participated in this half-day workshop that featured presentations covering the medical, social, psychological and spiritual dimensions that need to be addressed when someone is presented with a cancer diagnosis. Thank you for presenting this very important information to our community!
