Notes from the Executive Director

It’s a special time of year on the shores of Lake Erie and an especially beautiful one. Leaves are turning, becoming spectacular sprays of color, cider’s pressed for cooler evenings and the garden’s being turned over for the coming winter. It’s a time of preparation and reflection.

At Chaplain Partnership we’re busy interviewing candidates for new positions, preparing budgets for 2018, and trying to anticipate the when, where and if, of healthcare reform. It’s certainly not boring!

Preparations are also underway for our annual retreat. This daylong event provides our chaplains with the opportunity to disconnect, engage in stimulating activities and recharge their batteries. We will be returning to Centering Space in Lakewood for this event and we are extremely grateful to the Rev. Don Rice and the members of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dover, Ohio for their continued generosity in underwriting this event. Thank you!

Additionally, I’d like to thank our friends and benefactors who continue to support our ministry. We couldn’t do it without you!
