Congratulations, Judy!

It’s said that all good things must come to an end, and so on February 1, after 24 years of serving Chaplain Partnership, Judy Ziolek, our Operations & Human Resource Manager, began her retirement and started a new phase of her life. The occasion was celebrated with a reception in her honor held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Westlake, Ohio on January 29.

In reflecting on her years of service, Judy noted, “There are so many people I’d like to thank, both past and present, for their support over the years. To our Board members who have shared their time, talents and support of our mission; to our chaplains for sharing their compassionate care with those around them; to our benefactors, who so generously fund us to continue our mission – we couldn’t do it without you; to our auxiliary volunteers who spend countless hours making beautiful handmade items for our chaplains to share with those they serve; to our institutional partners who support our ministry by using our services; to our vendors who provide excellent customer service for CP and our employees; to the executive directors I’ve served under: Rick Warger, Mary Carson and Mark Laskey for their support; and to the administrative staff, Gina Svat and Karen Henterly, for supporting me in my duties and for their sense of humor that made coming to work every day such a pleasure. It has been the very best job of my career!” She is humbled by the donations that have been made to Chaplain Partnership in honor of her years of service.

Judy and her husband, Eric, who also recently retired, are looking forward to the rewards of their well-earned retirements, which will include lots of golf, travel, gardening, reading, cooking and spending time with their daughter & son-in-law.

Congratulations, Judy, and thank you. We wish you every happiness and
success in this exciting new phase of your life. God speed!
