News from the Executive Director

I don’t know about you, but 2017 seems ages ago and 2018 is quickly gaining speed. Where does the time go?

As we wrap up the loose ends of last year and dig-in for the new year, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Judy Ziolek for her dedicated service to our ministry over the course of the past 24 years. Congratulations on a job well done, my friend, and best wishes for a wonderful retirement.

I’d also like to welcome Karen Henterly as our new Operations & Human Resource Manager. We look forward to the pleasure of working with you and to your contributions to our organization.

Also, greetings are in order to Chaplain Beth McKee, our new chaplain at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s and MacDonald Women’s Hospitals. Welcome to the Chaplain Partnership family and best wishes for a successful ministry.

Thanks are also in order to our chaplains who work day-in, day-out offering their comforting, non-judgmental presence to their patients, patients’ families and their caregivers. Your work is vitally important and you all do it well. Thanks, too, to our benefactors for supporting our ministry with their time, talents and treasure and to the Friends of Chaplain Partnership for their efforts supporting our chaplains with ministerial aids. We are so grateful to all of you for your contributions towards the continued success of Chaplain Partnership.

Now here’s to a great 2018!

Mark D. Laskey, Executive Director
