New Board Members

Chaplain Partnership is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Directors, Bonnie J. Burnett, M.Div., BCC and Laura Rodriguez-Carbone, M.P.A. Both Bonnie and Laura have been elected to serve three-year terms.

Bonnie Burnett received her B.A. in Music from Cleveland State University and her Master of Divinity was awarded by the University of Notre Dame. She completed her residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at South Bend’s St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and her ACPE Supervisory Training was completed at St. Vincent Hospitals and Health System in Indianapolis. Recently retired, her career path included numerous high level positions within Catholic health systems throughout Colorado, Nebraska, Louisiana, Texas and Indiana. Board Certified through the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), she also served as a member of the NACC’s board and was elected chair of the Board in 2013 and 2014.

Laura Rodriguez-Carbone received her B.A. in Political Science from Cleveland State University and completed her Master of Public Administration at the University of Nebraska. She has worked for the U.S. Department of Education, serving in their 21stCentury Program Community Learning Centers as a Program Coordinator and with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights. Currently, Laura serves as Community Outreach Coordinator with Lifebanc, working with stakeholders on the life-saving and life-affirming effects of organ, eye and tissue donation. She also is very active in local politics.
