Notes from the Executive Director

Earlier this spring I decided that it was time to step down and afford someone else the opportunity to serve, nurture and grow this wonderful organization. I decided that it was time to slow down and enjoy life a little bit more and I announced my retirement to our Board effective August 2.
As I approach my last week at the helm I want to take this opportunity to say “thank you” to the many friends I’ve made over the course of the last 8½ years for your support, guidance and kindness. Your contributions to the success of our ministry are incalculable and greatly appreciated.
Serving Chaplain Partnership as its Executive Director is one of the blessings of my life. Having the honor of representing our mission and the chaplains who provide spiritual care to those in need is humbling and a privilege. Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to serve.
Currently our Search Committee is conducting a national search to name my successor. In the meantime, we have a strong interim team in place consisting of our great administrative staff, Gina Svat and Marc Pogachar, with additional assistance provided by our Board President, Megan Patton.
So, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Friends of Chaplain Partnership and to our chaplains, benefactors, institutional contacts and partners, board members and administrative staff, for your efforts in supporting me, and Chaplain Partnership’s mission. I wish you every success toward another century of service to all in need.
