Jennifer is an active parishioner in her home parish of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westlake. She looks forward to her involvement with Chaplain Partnership and hopes to take an active role in exploring new opportunities and ways to spread our ministry.

In late 2016 she began discerning a call to ministry and entered ordination candidacy through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s TEEM (Theological Education for Emerging Ministries) Program in 2017. She has a particular interest in chaplaincy and spiritual formation. An avid hiker, Marilyn also coordinates Holy Hikes-Northeast Ohio, a chapter of a national eco-ministry that works to rebuild communion between all of God’s creation through liturgical hikes.

She and her spouse live in west Cleveland.

Scott Metsch joined the Chaplain Partnership Board of Directors in May 2019. Scott received a B.A. in Communication from Cleveland State University and a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University. With a career emphasis on contract and supplier management, he has worked as a sourcing and commodity manager in the technical, MRO and services space in both the finance and manufacturing sectors, currently with TimkenSteel Corporation in Canton.

Through his involvement in leadership positions in care-focused ministries such as the Legion of Mary at Ss. Robert and William Parish, Scott has led teams in hospital, nursing home, jail and home care visits with an emphasis on providing spiritual care to the sick, incarcerated and infirmed.

Scott honed his passion for the care of the sick through theological training at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe and continues to develop concrete programs for the care of the marginalized through his leadership of the North Olmsted Knights of Columbus Council at St. Clarence Church where he is an officer and board member. Programs there emphasize jail ministry and assisting children with developmental disabilities.

Scott and his wife Kristen live in Richmond Heights. They have one son.
