Chaplain Partnership seeks an experienced part-time Operations and Human Resource Manager for its office located in North Olmsted, Ohio.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing all items related to payroll
  • Preparing financial reports, annual budget, invoices, maintain receivables and payables and assisting with audit preparation
  • Coordinating oversight of our employee benefit programs (health, dental, pension, life, disability, worker’s compensation, etc.)
  • Attending board and committee meetings, taking minutes and preparing other meeting materials as necessary
  • Developing cost projections for services
  • Serve as accounting specialist and attending board meetings, taking minutes and preparing other meeting materials for LAOS (Lutheran Agencies Organized in Service)
  • Assisting the Executive Director with projects as directed


Qualified candidates should possess:

  • BA in Business and/or Accounting and/or 5+ years relevant experience
  • Proficiency and accuracy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), advanced QuickBooks and internet navigation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time-management and organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • An affinity for the organization’s faith-based ministry
  • Previous nonprofit experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with third-party payroll services is a plus
